ABOUT LYN

Lyn has an MBA in Human Resource and Organisational Development from the University of Stellenbosch, a B Soc Sc in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Cape Town, an Honours conversion Diploma in Psychology from the University of Newcastle and an Honours degree in Business Administration from the University of Stellenbosch. She also has an HND in Counselling and a Diploma in Life Coaching. Her working life began as a nurse at Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town where she qualified in General Nursing. She has nearly two decades of experience in individual and group development as well as in organisational change, development and research. Lyn became a Director of Research and Human Resourse Development for Coopers & Lybrand and has managed her own Human Resource Development and Training consultancy. Before that she managed the function for both a well established and a rapidly expanding organisation. Lyn has experience in counselling in the workplace as well as counselling victims of abuse and people diagnosed with Aspergers syndome.

Lyn is passionate about empowering people to unlock their potential, realise their goals and find increased happiness. Although she has experience in most areas of Human Resource Development she has special interests in stress management at an individual and group organisational level. Other areas of interest include: confidence building, assertiveness, interpersonal and negotiating skills as well as communication, interviewing, presentations, time management and team building.

She is happily married to a Chartered Accountant who is a business consultant and they have two children.

The INNOVATIVE PEOPLE SOLUTION logo symbolises sharpness of focus and at the same time it symbolises hope and happiness. The point in the logo reflects the sharpness of focus while the vertical lines symbolise the successive layers of defence that corporations and individuals present. The rainbow colours symbolise the fun element involved in the change process and are constituents of "white light; or revelation.
