Our services are aligned with Corporate Goals to improve corporate productivity and corporate performance which is derived from enhanced personal productivity and personal performance. This is achieved through direct person-to-person intervention because face-to face contact has been shown to be the most effective instrument from amongst the myriad of stress-busting techniques.


    OUR POINT OF ENTRY

    Innovative People Solutions intervention begins in every case with an initial assessment of the current environment and seeks to identify the need areas. Every proposal for intervention starts from this point. This begins with group discussions and progresses to one-to-one sessions. At all times a high value is placed on trust and confidentiality. These discussions provide an appreciation of key issues facing the organisation and where intervention might help. In group management sessions and through a stress risk assessment as well as an employee engagement survey we gain insight into organisational culture and the stress points in the organisation. Surveys identify and confirm vulnerable areas and positions which are then monitored. We help employers to design and implement systems, which will enable them to;

  • Access the kind of information they need to detect early warning signs

  • Clarify what they want to change and what action they would like to take

  • Create a stress management policy

    Typically a stress management programme will involve interventions to reduce stressors in the workplace, interventions aimed at improving the stress resilience of individuals and teams. It will seek to improve the corporation's ability to cope with stressors and the rehabilitation of those affected by stress.

    Management and group workshops are aimed at raising awareness and group development across the organisation. Here strategies for identifying and managing stress are explored. The members are encouraged to consider all possible solutions and to identify ways of managing and reducing individual and inter-personal stress while maintaining the performance and productivity levels. Such sessions can be facilitated in collaboration with the Human Resource Department, divisional, unit or departmental leaders who have been trained and are supported by us.

    FORMATION AND IMPLEMENTATION SERVICE:

    From these workshops three areas of possible Intervention will be identified;

    Organisational Intervention is about Policy Formation and will ensure that the organisation has an integrated stress policy encompassing both preventative and responsive measures.

    Group Intervention is about Education where managers are made aware of stress and the means to mitigate and manage it.

    Individual Intervention is about Coaching where problems are defined, goals are clarified and solutions and remedial action plans are constructed.


    MAINTENANCE SERVICE:

    Innovative People Solutions supports continuous improvement against HSE standards for work-related stress. Our aim is to enable management to easily monitor and review performance against HSE standards while we provide an agreed support service which can take the form of telephone and e-mail support.
