    WHAT IS REALISING POTENTIAL?

    We expect a high level of satisfaction in our jobs and our relationships and a high standard of living. We are entitled to this but how many of us fully realise our latent capabilities? With the right support, we can all increase our personal productivity and fulfillment.

    Realising Potential is about using inherent abilities to achieve desired goals. It is about increasing awareness of capabilities by expanding comfort zones and through achieving chosen objectives. It is about turning on positive thoughts and turning off negative ones, it is about 'taking risks’ and stretching boundaries and increasing self-knowledge through experience. We believe that individuals are capable of achieving much more than they realise and that a greater sense of self-awareness, clarity and focus are the keys to releasing such potential. In a growth enhancing environment and with supportive relationships individuals are capable of connecting with their intrinsic motivation, which is the energy that enables them to realise more than they believed they were capable of achieving. A large part of individual potential is hidden from the individuals themselves and the right conditions are needed to unblock this unrealised capability.

    INCREASING EMOTIONAL FITNESS :

    Potential Realisation requires 'emotional fitness'. This comes from getting rid of emotional baggage and from unblocking emotions that keep us stuck. It means confronting our fears, knowing and accepting who we are, living our values, focusing on our strengths and re-structuring and controlling our thoughts. It is about taking control and being responsible. At the same time it is about learning how to laugh and play, which is fundamental to good mental and physical health.

    Intrinsic motivation is the source of energy that enables the realisation of goals. It is a fundamental understanding of what needs to be done and a desire to keep moving toward a goal. We focus on unblocking this energy, pushing individual boundaries and on simple, constructive and practical ways of increasing positivity, resilience and productivity leading to increased clarity of focus and sustained commitment.

    This is not about making people work harder; it is more than the absence of emotional unhappiness or the absence of stress. Emotional Fitness is about feeling; having inner clarity, feeling that your skills are adequate, having a sense of peace and the ability to focus on the present.
